Topic: The Shevkar Posted: 2004-07-11 @ 12:33:04 The Shevkar is just over seven feet tall, has no body hair, no visible eyes in its hollow sockets, and two rows of front teeth with no known molars. The Shevkar is believed to be similar to a chameleon because of its ability to change skin color to blend in with backgrounds. It has been reported to be double jointed in its elbows and knees, and its skin appears to be very smooth and wet. The Shevkar lacks genitalia so its sex is unknown. This description has come together from hundreds of reports throughout the years, and apart from recently confirmed facts (teeth, body hair, and size) nobody is certain what traits have been stretched, and what traits remain as fact. What is certain, are the crimes that the Shevkar has committed.
The Shevkar is a killer. Every person who has met their fate at the hands of the Shevkar has been found completely dismembered. Bite marks are found on the back of victims’ necks and shoulders. These bites remove entire chunks of flesh, and forensics tell us the victims are still alive when this happens. It is believed to be done as a way of disabling prey, and perhaps a way of savoring the moment. Once the victim is disabled its limbs are removed one at a time, which allows the victim to experience every minute of this agonizing death. It has been determined that they are torn off the body at the base, and then broken in several places after being removed. Victims have been found out thick forests, the tops of mountains, and in their very own homes. It is not known how the Shevkar chooses its victims. The origins of the Shevkar are unknown. The most investigators have to go on are various reports and some old time legends. The most recent reports are coming from the midwest of the United States, but older reports come from all over the globe, and the earliest reports originated from India. Because the Shevkar lacks genitalia (unconfirmed) most believe there to be only one Shevkar, and nobody is certain on how old it really is or how it travels. All that is known is that it’s still active, and fresh reports pop up approximately once a year. If you feel you can make a fair sketch of the Shevkar, please submit it via the forum. I'd be very interested to see it. (3)Comments
