Topic: Near Fatal Injury Occurred Over Lack Of Toilet Paper Posted: 2004-10-17 @ 02:03:21 Pamela Johnson, of River Glenn, incurred severe injury last Tuesday as she attempted to deliver a roll of toilet paper to her daughter, Tammy. After a large meal with her family, Tammy used the facilities on the second floor of their three story home, and realized that the bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper. She called out to her mother, who was in the next room, and requested a roll be delivered to her. Pamela complied, but noticed that the door to the bathroom was locked. After attempting to unlock the bathroom door, Pamela decided to scale the side of her home in order to toss the toilet paper to her daughter through the bathroom window.
“Obviously, Tammy couldn’t get up to unlock the door for me, so I had to be creative. There’s a tree on the side of the house where the bathroom is, and a ledge outside the window where I could step. I just figured I could give Tam the roll through the window and climb down again,” Pamela told reporters. She had successfully climbed up the tree and was stepping onto the eave when she slipped on a slick leaf and fell to the ground below. She woke up in the emergency room after her husband, Frank, rushed her to the hospital. Pamela received a concussion from her fall and required thirty-four stitches to six places on her back and buttocks.
